I'm Forever Yours, Plane Yahtzee (a.k.a., the Journey, V.2)

We landed in Amsterdam at 6 am. Most of us were feeling tired from the flight and time change. We walked around the airport since our next flight was at 10 am. Our next flight was on KLM and it was 11 hours to Cape Town. For the first meal we had chicken and broccoli. For the next meal we had pizza and rice with a cool whip dessert! Most of our group played trivia or Yahtzee on the plane. We landed in Cape Town at 10pm.

We went through customs and had the first opportunity to exchange money. We then headed towards the transportation area where a van picked us up and took us to Hotel Verde about 5 min away.

The hotel was very pretty with live plants and different statues all over. Lydia and I shared a hotel room for the night. The light system was the most confusing. We had to put the key card into the holder on the wall to get the lights and power to work. It was so nice to sleep lying down for longer than a couple of hours. We look forward to our adventures tomorrow!
